Andrew Price
Meet Andrew Price, the beloved Director of the Woodend Warblers. When he's not leading our vibrant group, you can find him as the Assistant Director of the Melbourne Men’s Singing Group, Men in Suits. Andrew's musical spirit also shines in his collaboration with folk singer Fred Smith, and his lively Kingston Sea Shanty sessions. Plus, he nurtures the next generation of singers as Director of Young Warblers.
Andrew's musical journey started early, inspired by his father, the church organist, and his mother, a singing teacher. He began his musical education with piano lessons in primary school and later switched to clarinet in high school, which won him a music scholarship during his final two years. He played clarinet with the Sydney Schools Symphony Orchestra (SSSO) and participated in numerous mass choir events.
Andrew's life revolves around creating perfect harmony and fostering a strong, spirited community.
